Edvocation® offer a range of interventions, some of which involve our strategic partners.
Interventions are organised around the profile of needs of individuals, and small groups. These include:
Intervention sessions are recommended as being between 30- and 60-minutes on a once-a-week basis. This is dependent on a young person’s profile, such as age and issues being experienced. Edvocation® Services offer social, emotional, mental health and well-being programmes and social skills and communication mentoring to support the development of social skills for young people who are having difficulties in their relationships and interactions.
Sessions are individually tailored to incorporate blended, integrative and evidenced-based approaches, such as of mindfulness and creative cognitive behavioural therapy tailored around the profile of a young person. This is to introduce different activities that support them to challenge and reframe automatic negative thoughts needed to change response behaviours. A minimum of 6 sessions is advised; a maximum of 20 sessions are available.
Intervention programmes are organised around baseline measures; structured sessions can be arranged as one-to-one or small group with decisions made on a case by case basis; individual engagement and participation are reviewed through out the intervention phase; a summary report, or running record, or parent/professional meeting as agreed at the onset of a programme, is provided at the point of exit. To discuss your individual needs, please book an advisory meeting using our on-line booking system. Fees start at £80* per session and include preparation, delivery and write up of running record.
