Yours Space provides social opportunities, activities and clubs for children and young people who are on the Autistic Spectrum. Our activities give children and young people the chance to make friends, have fun and enhance their social skills. We also provide support to their families and carers, helping them through providing some respite from their caring responsibilities or allowing them to assist in their child’s social development. Your Space seeks to provide a safe and fun place for children and young people on the autistic spectrum or may have related conditions, to enjoy activities and feel supported. We do not require a formal diagnosis for your child or young person to take part in our activities or access our services.
PACC (Parent and Carers Council): Shropshire PACC is a voluntary organisation led by parents and carers of children with disabilities or additional needs.
We are a registered charity (1150180) and funded by the Department for Education national participation grant and by the Big Lottery Fund. PACC is a pan disability organization that offers support and information to all parents or carers of children and young people with any disability or additional need in Shropshire.
We recognise that supporting a child or young person with a disability or additional need can be challenging and inevitably impacts on family life. This can result in families becoming very isolated, unable to access information and lacking in opportunity.
The bringing together of families into a supportive empowered community can lead to a fundamental change for the better in the quality of life for these families
